![]() ![]() Well, sure, but you can't do that until the last part of the last act of the game. Once you get the "affect all" card, that's the efficient way to fight for boss fights, I used a lot of two-man spells (Destroyer, Summon+Law, or Summon ) and had the third character handle healing and core restoration by using items. Many battles can be won with a simple lightning-all (mechs are weak to lightning), or at most two (which is what I tended to do in the last few levels, with a Maya-Led-Lobo team). Just load up 3 fast characters with decent or good core (Maya-Led-Selina is a good choice, since Grubb is so delicate give maya the eagle wing for speed and Led the mental booster artifact whose name I forget) and cast destroyer-all (Law+Chaos+All) or black hole (Law+Chaos+Mirror) as soon as all three get an action point. Relatedly, the agility-boosting optional items are by far the best combat boosts. The high-agility characters both attack faster and are the only ones who can consistently hit late-game enemies. ![]() It is worth noting that in the late game, most of the "strong fighters" actually suck because they are slow and miss constantly (Runner starts to suck pretty early on, and Badu is only briefly decent). I'm not joking I actually had a book to read while wading through the long battles. ![]()
